WI Farm Technology Days Event Seeks Sponsors, Volunteers

WI Farm Technology Days event seeks sponsors, volunteers

Wisconsin Farm Technology Days is coming to Baraboo in 2023. The annual three-day show has always depended on volunteers to host the farmers, farm families, exhibitors and other visitors that attend the show.
In Baraboo we will again be looking for volunteers from local organizations to help us provide a great show experience for the agriculture community and the general public.
The event – scheduled for July 18-20 – will be held at the Badger Steam and Gas Engine Club Grounds, S3347 Sand Road, Baraboo.
This impressive facility which has, for many years, showcased the history and evolution of agriculture machinery and technology, will in 2023 also showcase the most state-of-the art
technology and equipment for agriculture and rural living. The annual show also provides opportunities to showcase local agriculture, industry and the other many attractions of the local community where the show is held. The show also provides an opportunity for families to share the show experience and for the general public to connect with the source of the foods they enjoy every day.
We are looking for local organizations to “sign-up” to support various functions associated with conducting the show. As a reward for your organization’s support for the show, your organization will be compensated at an hourly rate of $12 for each volunteer hour your organization provides
to staff the show. To ensure that show volunteers are well coordinated and to provide the best and safest show experience for volunteers and everyone participating, we are asking that each organization providing volunteers for the show commit to having one member of their organization participate in a series of Show Coordination Meetings leading up to the event.
Each show volunteer scheduled to work will receive a Wisconsin Farm Technology Days 2023 Show Volunteer T-shirt to wear while volunteering for the show and to keep as a memento of the show volunteer experience. In addition, volunteers scheduled for four or more hours on any day of the show will receive a one-day admission pass to the show and a meal voucher for lunch on the grounds.
For more information or to sign up to volunteer, call or text Arnie Jennerman at 608-630-3917 or email him at aajennerman@wisc.edu.
