Getting to the Baraboo area is simple, however, leaving our charming small town may be difficult!


The Baraboo area lies at the heart of the Baraboo River Valley in south central Wisconsin. It is 40 miles northwest of Madison and approximately halfway between Milwaukee and LaCrosse.

Served by US Highway 12 and State Trunk Highways 113, 33, and 123, the area can also be reached by I90/94 of the interstate system connecting with US Highway 12 (9 miles). State Trunk Highway 33 (13 miles) is another option to reach Baraboo.

The Wisconsin & Southern Railroad provides rail freight service. Several trucking firms provide highway freight service.

The area is also served by an airport 3 miles north of Baraboo and West Baraboo on US Highway 12.
