St. Clare Hospital, a 70-bed acute healthcare institution, is a leader in rural healthcare in south central Wisconsin.  It is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and has the benefit of more than 100 physicians who serve on its active and consulting medical staff.   A member of SSM Healthcare (a St. Louis based healthcare system), St. Clare offers acute care services as well as a wide range of other services including chemical dependency treatment, mental health services for older adults and hemodialysis.
