Golf

Golfers will enjoy challenging, and scenic courses in the Baraboo area!

Overlooking the bluffs of Devil's Lake State Park, Baraboo Country Club offers beautiful vistas of the surrounding Baraboo Bluffs. Draper Creek meanders throughout the golf course connecting Devil's Lake to the Baraboo River, creating challenging water features on nine out of 18 championship caliber holes. The Draper Creek Indian Burial Mound Group, estimated to be over 1000 years old, protected and preserved, offers a distinct feel of the rich history of Baraboo. And in keeping with the area's concern for wildlife habitat management, Baraboo Country Club has created a haven for birds and small game.

Just east of Devil's Lake State Park, the 36-hole Championship Golf Course at Devil's Head Resort is consistently rated among the Top 25 Wisconsin Golf Courses by many different authorities and publications. Golfers enjoy the spectacular views from the 9-hole Glacier Course as well as the challenging layouts from the Devil's Head 18 hole course. New in 2006 is the 9-hole Prairie Glen Course. Regardless of which course you chose to play, the natural beauty and tranquilty of Devil's Head Resort ensures a challenging and relaxing round of golf.

Located just a few miles north of Baraboo, Fairfield Hills Golf Course is a 9 hole walking course, nestled in the rolling foothills of the Baraboo Bluffs. Nominated in '05 as one of Wisconsin's Best 9-Hole Courses (GCOW), Fairfield Hills offers a scenic and challenging golf game for people of all skill levels on a 1,900 yard, par 30 course.
