The Baraboo area's many and varied attractions and recreational opportunities are best experienced when you stay in one of our many fine hotels, motels, resorts, bed and breakfasts or campgrounds. However, if your plans include lodging in communities within a short drive of Baraboo, that doesn't mean you have to miss out on all the fun we have to offer! The Baraboo area's attractions and recreational opportunities are well-suited to those making day-trips to Baraboo from nearby Wisconsin Dells (12 miles), Madison (40 miles) and any number of other communities in our region. A pleasant drive to our area through the scenic Baraboo Bluffs on your way to take in one or two (or more!) of our attractions may just be one of the highlights of your vacation.
